In today's world, thousands of people leave their homes in search of better opportunities and living conditions, adapting to a new culture and experiencing changes in their lifestyle. This process also exposes them to risks and both physical and mental comorbidities associated with migration. This study aimed to identify the relationship between immigration, lifestyle, and the mental health of immigrants in the Midwest region of Santa Catarina, Brazil. Methodologically, this research was characterized as qualitative and exploratory, employing semi-structured interviews with 20 immigrants. The collected data were subsequently categorized based on Bardin’s content analysis. The findings revealed the motivations behind immigration, its impact on mental health, specific lifestyle aspects, and immigrants' perceptions of their own lifestyle and mental well-being. Thus, the migration process influenced, to some extent, the mental health of these individuals, highlighting changes in their lifestyle from their country of origin to their current place of residence.
